The Venue
The Old Ashford Estate — a historic manor nestled in the Cambridgeshire countryside. Built in the early 1800s, the estate has retained its character and charm, with original stonework, elegant gardens, and sweeping rural views.
It’s a peaceful and picturesque setting that offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing.
around 25 minutes from Cambridge by car, with parking available on-site. A return coach will also be running to and from the city for those staying nearby.
The Theme
We've no specific theme in place, but this is a formal event. Refer below for clarification.
For the Ladies
Dresses, jumpsuits or co-ords are all welcome — go for something you’d wear to a countryside wedding. We'd kindly ask that you avoid white, ivory or anything too close to the bride’s colour palette.
For the Gentlemen
A lounge suit or smart jacket and trousers is ideal. Ties are optional — feel free to bring your own style, just keep it polished and event-appropriate. Please avoid all-white or cream tones.

The Story
Ben and Amelia first crossed paths in 2018 at a friend’s birthday dinner — seated opposite one another, they quickly bonded over a shared love of film, flat whites, and slightly chaotic travel plans. What followed was five years of laughter, new cities, and Sunday morning routines that neither wanted to give up.In early spring of last year, during a weekend away in the Lake District, Ben proposed on a misty hillside walk (with muddy boots and all). Amelia said yes — after catching her breath.Now, they’re beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by their favourite people.
